Highest Honor of Pakistan: डॉ सैयदना चौथे भारतीय होंगे जिन्हें पाकिस्तान की ओर से उसका सर्वोच्च सम्मान ‘निशान-ए-पाकिस्तान’ दिया जाएगा. बुधवार को पाक के राष्ट्रपति आरिफ अल्वी ने पुरस्कार की घोषणा की है.

Nishan-e-Pakistan: भारत की आर्थिक राजधानी मुंबई से ताल्लुक रखने वाले डॉ सैयदना मुफद्दल सैफुद्दीन को पाकिस्तान का सर्वोच्च नागरिक सम्मान ‘निशान-ए-पाकिस्तान’ (‘Nishan-e-Pakistan’) दिया जाएगा. डॉ सैयदना चौथे भारतीय होंगे जिन्हें पाकिस्तान की ओर से यह सम्मान दिया जाएगा. बुधवार को पाक के राष्ट्रपति आरिफ अल्वी ने पुरस्कार की घोषणा की है. फिलहाल यह पुरस्कार कब दिया जाएगा इसकी तारीख का ऐलान अब तक नहीं किया गया है.

दाऊदी बोहरा पंथ के प्रमुख हैं डॉ सैयदना

डॉ सैयदना मुफद्दल सैफुद्दीन मुंबई से संचालित इस्लाम के दाऊदी बोहरा पंथ (Dawoodi Bohra sect) के प्रमुख हैं. ‘निशान-ए-पाकिस्तान’ को ‘ग्रांड क्रॉस ऑफ द ऑर्डर ऑफ पाकिस्तान’ ('Grand Cross of the Order of Pakistan') के नाम से भी जाना जाता है. यह सम्मान पाकिस्तान के राष्ट्रीय हित में सर्वोच्च सम्मान वाली सेवाओं के लिए दिया जाता है. इसके साथ ही यह पाकिस्तान का सर्वोच्च नागरिक सम्मान (Pakistan's highest civilian honour) है. इस पुरस्कार को सर्वोच्च सैन्य वीरता पुरस्कार ‘निशान-ए-हैदर’ के समतुल्य माना जाता है.

14 अगस्त को होती है इसकी घोषणा लेकिन

गौरतलब है कि पाकिस्तान के स्वतंत्रता दिवस 14 अगस्त (Independence Day of Pakistan) को इसकी घोषणा की जाती है और अगले साल पाकिस्तान के राष्ट्रीय दिवस 23 मार्च (National Day of Pakistan) पर इसे दिया जाता है. हालांकि, कई विशेष मामलों में तारीखों को फॉलो करना जरूरी नहीं होता है. लिहाजा किसी भी वक्त इस पुरस्कार को दिया जाता सकता है. आपको बता दें कि दाऊदी बोहरा समुदाय को मानने वाले लोग करीब 40 देशों में रहते हैं और पाकिस्तान में भी इनकी संख्या काफी अधिक है.

कमजोर वर्गों के सेवा के लिए सम्मान

इस समुदाय के लोग कमजोर वर्गों के बेहतरी के लिए काम करते हैं. आपको बता दें कि इस सम्मान को पाने वाले पहले भारतीय मोरारजी देसाई थे. उन्हें 1990 में ‘निशान-ए-पाकिस्तान’ से नवाजा गया था. साल 2020 में कश्मीरी अलगाववादी नेता अली गिलानी (Kashmiri separatist leader Ali Geelani) को भी यह पुरस्कार मिल चुका है. आपको बता दें कि कला और संस्कृति के क्षेत्र में भारत के मशहूर एक्टर दिलीप कुमार (Famous actor Dilip Kumar) को भी पाकिस्तान की ओर से 'इम्तियाज-ए-पाकिस्तान' दिया जा चुका है.

President approves conferment of Nishan- e-Pakistan on Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin

ISLAMABAD, Nov 22 (APP): President Dr Arif Alvi has accorded his approval to conferment of country’s highest civil award Nishan-e-Pakistan on Dr Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin.

Dr Mufaddal Saifuddin is the 53rd Da’i al-Mutlaq and head of Dawoodi Bohras in Mumbai, President Secretariat Press Wing said in a press release on Wednesday.

The president granted the conferment of civil award under Article 259 (2) of the Constitution and the Decorations Act 1975.

Years One to Four students from Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah, Surat had the opportunity to display an informative, interactive, and immersive science exhibition. Approximately 7000 visitors came to see the exhibition which was inspired by the concept of ‘balance’ as elaborated in His Holiness Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin’s various Ashara Mubaraka sermons with the help of natural phenomena and scientific concepts. It featured live experiments, scientific models and poster explanations related to biology, physics, chemistry, geometry and human anatomy. The Fatimid Chief Jurist and Dai, Syedna al-Qadi al-Nu’man’s statement, 'Everything that deviates from a state of equilibrium falls outside the limits of perfection’ was a key inspiration for the exhibition. 

For example, the section on ecological balance was inspired by His Holiness' commentary in his sixth sermon from this year’s Ashara where he highlighted the Almighty's precise allocation of resources to every creature to maintain balance and fairness. His Holiness explained this balance with bees and silkworms, both of which are known for their meticulous work in creating high-quality products. At the exhibition, a thread of silk, five times stronger than steel, was used to lift weights exceeding 10 kg. Also, one exhibit featured an actual beehive where participants were challenged to replicate its perfect hexagons by hand.

As a tremendous recognition of their efforts, His Holiness visited the exhibit and praised the students for their hard work and insightful explanations.

Dawoodi Bohra community leader arrives in Karachi

Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqar welcomes Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin

Spiritual leader of the Dawoodi Bohra community Dr Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, along with his family members, arrived in Karachi on Monday, according to a statement from the Sindh government.

Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqar received the head of the worldwide Dawoodi Bohra community at Old Terminal in Karachi. Former Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab, Senate Deputy Chairman Saleem Mandviwala, and members of the Bohra community were also at the airport to receive Syedna Mufaddal. They presented bouquets of flowers to him.

Upon the invitation of the government and the community members, the spiritual leader of the Bohra community arrived in the provincial capital of Sindh on Monday from Sri Lanka.

Expressing his appreciation, Dr Syedna thanked caretaker Sindh Chief Minister Bagar and others for the heartfelt welcome he received upon his arrival.

He also visited Karachi last year during which he met members of the Bohra community.

Last year, Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori in his meeting with the spiritual leader of Dawoodi Bohra community requested him to pray for the development and prosperity of the country.

Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah

Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah is the principal educational institute of the Dawoodi Bohra community. The academy has been functioning from its present campus in Surat, India for over two centuries with a sister campus inaugurated here at Karachi, Pakistan in 1404/1983. A third campus was established in Nairobi in 1432/2011 with the official inauguration taking place in 1438/2017. The construction of the latest campus in Mumbai, where classes commenced in 1434/2013 in temporary settings, is nearing completion. The campus in Karachi was inaugurated in 1983 by the former President of Pakistan, General Zia-ul-Haq.

The eleven-year programme covers secondary, undergraduate and graduate education. During their time at Aljamea, students study a range of subjects within the empirical sciences, social sciences and the humanities, as well as select languages. They also receive instruction in life and vocational skills and are able to pursue degrees in various fields from other institutions concurrent with their studies at Aljamea.

One of the most significant features of Aljamea isMahad al-Zahra. Established by the late Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin in 1976, Mahad al-Zahra is an institute of Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah dedicated to the recitation, memorisation and study of the sciences and arts of the Holy Quran. It is currently headed by Shahzada Husain Burhanuddin, son of Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, current leader of the community.
